RE firm Greenstat has begun the construction of its 20 MW green hydrogen production facility at Fiskå in Rogaland county, Norway. The upcoming plant is part of the Agder Hydrogen Hub in Kristiansand that the company is bullish about. The construction is expected to take two years to complete.

The Norwegian company is aiming to supply green hydrogen to the demand coming from the maritime, heavy transport, and construction machinery industries in the region by 2026.

The project marks the the first phase of the company’s plans for hydrogen hub in Kristiansand. The construction work for the phase two of the project has also begun already, with a possible capacity expansion with an additional 40 MW, according to media reports.
