HYVIA - HYVIA project (FR16)

HYVIA (France) is a 50/50 joint-venture between Renault Group and Plug and has activities in FC technologies for light commercial vehicles and tailored hydrogen solutions

The main objectives of the project are the development of Hydrogen Fuel Cell powered Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs), and the creation and ramp-up of in-house Fuel Cell production facility.
HYVIA will contribute to implementing the first pilot fleets by offering a complete, tailor-made, comprehensive solution for fleet operators aiming at decarbonizing professional fleets intensively used.

HYVIA's activities are carried out at existing Renault facilities in France.
The 5-year project will lead to a giga-factory scale manufacturing capacity, and several generations of hydrogen-powered vehicles for the European market.
